Russia warns the United States and NATO not to send Western forces into Ukraine as it prepares for war with Ukraine

Just last week, we wrote about the war brewing in the Luhansk & Donetsk region of Ukraine. It all started on March 24 when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a declaration of war against Russia in a document you won’t find in the mainstream media.

According to the document posted on the Ukrainian government website, which is translated into English, the new decree establishes the “de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.”

While we’re been fed with what our corporate media overlords want us to hear, Russian forces are moving near Ukraine’s borders in what could lead to World War 3. The military tension between the two countries has escalated in the last week as Ukraine attempts to retake back Crimea from Russia. In the last month, Russia has moved some 4,000 troops to Crimea and the border region with Ukraine, which has resulted in threats and counter-threats between Moscow and Kiev. According to the Ukrainian military, 25 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed as the tension between Russia and Ukraine escalates.

Now, Russia is warning the United States and NATO not to send any Western forces into Ukraine as it would trigger a severe reaction. Russia warned the West against deploying troops to Ukraine, saying such a move would escalate tensions nears its borders, amid renewed fears over the region’s long-simmering conflict. Also in his 17th annual state-of-the-nation address, Russian President Putin warns the United States and NATO that “Swift & Tough” Response Coming For Those Crossing ‘Red Line.’

Unlike smaller countries where the United States can just invade, a war with Russia is not going to be a walk in the park. Russia has more nuclear weapons than any other nation in the world. According to the public record, Russia has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, with a stockpile estimated at 6,375 warheads, of which 4,315 are operational (both strategic, non-strategic, and reserve). In addition, Russia’s large arsenal of 1,875 non-strategic warheads is not currently subject to any arms control limitations. Meanwhile, the United States only has 5,800. With experience fighting Hitler during World War II, Russia will do everything possible to defend its country.

According to a report from the military analysis site Defense Blog, the Russian “ministry described the drill as a “massive inspection,” to check combat readiness on the territory of all military districts and the Northern Fleet, in the Far North, on the Kuril Islands and Kamchatka.”

According to Russian News Agency Taas, Russia blamed Ukraine for renewed fighting in eastern Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this week that Russia was concerned about “Ukraine’s provocations.”

“So far, we can’t see signs indicating that the Ukrainian side wants to somewhat calm down, drop bellicose rhetoric hidden behind the talk about some imaginary threat and take control of its army units that are deployed directly along the contact line [in Donbass] and that often become a source of provocations.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also said early Tuesday that a NATO membership is the only way to end the war in Donbass. But Kremlin says Ukraine’s admission to NATO will only exacerbate the crisis in the region.

Meanwhile, as the Russian military build-up increases near eastern Ukraine, the United States pledged that it will stand by Ukraine in the event of any Russian “aggression.” With the American military stretched too thin, we should beware of what we wish for as Russia is ready for war.
