Fact-checkers are now scrambling to salvage their reputations after repeatedly dismissing the Wuhan lab leak as a ‘debunked conspiracy theory’
We now live in a country where six media giants control a whopping 90% of our media consumption. Be it online or on TV, these six corporations now control the news we hear, read, and watch. Back in 2018, Jim Morrison, a singer, songwriter, and poet, who served as the lead vocalist of the rock band, said: “Whoever controls the media, controls the mind.”
Today, objectivity in journalism is an illusion created by the elite class to give you the commoners the appearance of balanced news. However, there is no such thing as unbiased news. Journalists who work for these corporations answer to their puppet masters and ultimately serve their agendas. As Elon Musk once said, “Give my regards to your puppet master.”
This now brings us to the story of the origin of coronavirus. For over a year now, the mainstream media and their fact-checkers collaborators categorically dismissed the idea that coronavirus originated from China’s Wuhan Lab as a ‘debunked conspiracy theory’ without any scientific proof.
Just like in Hilter’s days, the media “Gestapo” who served as the sole purveyor and arbiter of truth, quickly labeled anyone with opposing views a conspiracy theorist. For over a year now, our site has been labeled a coronavirus misinformation and conspiracy theory site simply because we asked a very simple question: Where did the coronavirus originate from? Thousands of other people were suspended or banned on Twitter for asking the same question.
No one, not even a member of Congress, is spared from mainstream media “Gestapo” truth police. In May 2020, Washington Post editor and chief writer of The Fact Checker Glenn Kessler declared that it is “virtually impossible” that the virus originated from China’s Wuhan Lab.
On May 1, 2020, the Washington Post editor and chief writer of The Fact Checker Glenn Kessler, tweeted the following to Senator Ted Cruz saying: “I fear @tedcruz missed the scientific animation in the video that shows how it is virtually impossible for this virus jump from the lab. Or the many interviews with actual scientists. We deal in facts, and viewers can judge for themselves.”
Below is the May 1, 2020 tweet from Kessler. What’s so amazing about Kessler’s tweet is the reference to this: “We deal in facts, and viewers can judge for themselves.” Perhaps the question everyone should have asked Kessler at the time is: Where did you get your facts from?

Fast forward almost a year later. Kessler now all of sudden finds it credible. In a piece in the Washington Post, Kessler Kessler wrote, in a timeline article about how the story developed over the past year: “The source of the coronavirus that has left more than 3 million people dead around the world remains a mystery. But in recent months the idea that it emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) — once dismissed as a ridiculous conspiracy theory — has gained new credence.”
Kessler also said the following in a tweet earlier today: “NEW #FactChecker –> Timeline: How the Wuhan lab-leak theory suddenly became credible.”

So, what just happened? Did the fact change? We all know facts don’t change. The point is, there was never any scientific proof to support the assertion that the theory that the virus originated from Wuhan lab has been debunked.
Now, Senator Cruz, alluding to the Washington Post’s “Pinocchio” scale for defining the severity of falsehoods, gave the Post four clown emojis on Tuesday.

Senator Cruz is not alone in pointing out the mainstream media lies. Stephen L. Miller, Creator + host of Vs Media Podcast on Patreon, also tweeted this:

Meanwhile, Dr. Anothny Fauci finally admits that COVID-19 may have come from Wuhan Lab and called for further investigation. In an interview with Politifact’s Katie Sanders about whether he was still confident that COVID-19 emerged naturally, Dr. Fauci, who has led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, said he is ‘not convinced’ of COVID-19 natural origin.
In addition, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing a previously undisclosed US intelligence report, three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were so sick in November of 2019 that they sought hospitalization shortly before the confirmed outbreak.
