Colorado Department of Public Health says it has the power to regulate breathing because “the act of breathing constitutes movement.” A new justification for indoor mask mandate
If you think this is coming from the Onion or Babylon Bee, then you’re wrong. The state of Colorado is taking the mask mandate to a new level. Now, the Colorado Department of Public Health now wants to impose indoor mask rules.
Last Friday, public health bureaucrats in Colorado told a local school that they can regulate breathing. Obtained via CORA request. Below is a statement from the local Public Health Department :
“Our legal team has consulted with the state and they have determined that the act of breathing constitutes movement, so the state mask order would apply to people who are indoors and stationary,”
Below is a screenshot of the redacted public records material (CORA). Hats off to Michelle Malkin for sharing this on Twitter.
