Curogram closes $1.8M seed round to lead the evolution of two-way messaging for the healthcare industry
Texting, while an “ancient” concept, in the medical field has only been adopted by the dentist community. One startup is about to change that. Enter Curogram, an all-in-one texting and HIPAA-secure patient-centric universal healthcare messaging platform for independent practices, physician groups, and radiologists.
Not only is the platform ERM independent allowing providers to communicate no matter what ERM system they use, but it also puts the knowledge and power in the patient’s hand with its mobile app, allowing them to communicate with multiple providers in one place and managing their own health data in the cloud. With a shift to patient consumerism trending, Curogram is expected to shift how the medical field communicates.
Today, Curogram announced it has closed $1.8M seed round to increase sales and marketing resources. Backers include tech entrepreneur Tien Tzuo and more than 80 medical professionals, including physicians and healthcare executives. The invested capital will enable Curogram to increase sales and marketing resources.
