Yesterday, we wrote about Twitter after the social platform censored content from the New York Post and blocked its account. A couple of hours later, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey issued a non-apology apology saying “Our communication around our actions on the @nypost article was not great. And blocking URL sharing via tweet or DM with zero context as to why we’re blocking: unacceptable.”
But now, as part of its effort to censored content from political opponents, especially conservatives, Twitter has now taken its censorship to a new level. Twitter is now blocking access to a government website. Below is a screenshot of Twitter blocking access to the U.S. Congress website.
