Facebook censors interview with Chinese Virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan. Is this the END of Free Speech?

Yesterday, we wrote about Dr. Li-Meng Yan when Twitter suspended the account of the Chinese scientist after she published a paper with evidence that COVID-19 is a man-made virus created in Wuhan Lab. Then, on Tuesday night, Dr. Yan had an interview with Tucker Carlson’s tonight show.

Right after the interview, the video garnered nearly 28 million views across multiple platforms online. After telling Tucker and his audience that the Chinese Communist Party intentionally created and unleashed COVID19 upon the world as part of biological warfare, Dr. Yan went on to describe in greater detail that SARS-CoV-2 was a “frankenvirus” designed to target humans, and that it was “intentionally released.”

However, Facebook immediately censored the video on its two platforms: Facebook and Instagram. “This post repeats information about COVID-19 that has been reviewed by independent fact-checkers,” Facebook said. Below is a screenshot of the message from Facebook.

Facebook also censored a similar post shared on the show’s Facebook page, with more than 2.5 million followers. Below is the screenshot.
