In a video interview with CNN, Bill Gates says that the US should shutdown the entire country for a short period of time to control the spread of the coronavirus and predicts that the number of cases will peak in late April.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation co-founder said that it should not be left up to individual US states or counties, to decide whether to implement a total lockdown. Gates said that a nationwide lock-down was needed now, and that most cases of the virus will peak in late April.
