- A unicorn startup, Compass, is now valued at $2 Billion according to Fidelity. Compass, a New York-based startup is pitching investors that it can disrupt the home-buying process through the use of technology. Investors are paying attention and taking notice. Compass is revolutionizing the real estate brokerage market with unparalleled agents. Fidelity Investments is investing in the startup company, valuing the business at $1.8 billion, Compass said on Wednesday.
- Israeli start-up accuses Apple of copying its patented camera technology. Israel-based Corephotonics has sued Apple for allegedly copying its patented camera technology for smartphones.
- Karma wants to be the Economist for the next generation, on video. Karma Network is a new streaming service that is calling itself “The Economist for the next generation, on video.” Karma is the only original programming network for the next generation of investors and innovators, Karma said on its website.
- AI startup AYLIEN announces €2M investment and create 70 new jobs. AYLIEN, a Deep Learning and advanced Natural Language Processing startup announced creation of 70 jobs and a new investment. The new funding brings total investment in AYLIEN to €2 million ($2.35 million). The investment round is led by the Atlantic Bridge University Fund.
- Roman received $3.1 million in venture capital. Roman is a men’s health startup aims to get men to talk about their health. According to CNN Money, the funding news came when hims, a major investment in men’s health, which prescribes and sells men’s hair loss prevention medications, received $7 million.
- Learning Games Startup, Motion Math Moves acquired by a 46-year old company, Curriculum Associates. The startup helps children find delight in intellectual challenge. Motion Math Moves makes it the second company acquired by Curriculum Associates.
- Embodied Intelligence Inc. to train robots like puppets. Embodied Intelligence Inc. is a startup launched by Pieter Abbeel, a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, and his students, Peter Chen, Rocky Duan and Tianhao Zhang to use the latest techniques of deep reinforcement learning and artificial intelligence to make it easy to teach industrial robots.

Benow is a start-up venture incubated by Mastek a leading global software solutions company. Benow is a platform for digital payments developed by Cashless Technologies India Limited (CTIL) .
