Jack Dorsey calls on Elon Musk to release all Twitter files associated with FBI interference in the 2020 election and the censorship of Hunter Biden’s laptop story
Twitter founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey has called on Elon Musk to release all of the Twitter files. The call comes after revelations that former Twitter leadership did indeed take orders from Joe Biden’s campaign in taking extraordinary steps to bury The New York Post’s bombshell report about Hunter Biden’s laptop story and the FBI’s involvement in suppressing the story.
On Friday, Musk delivered on his promise with the release of what the social giant called “Twitter Files,” which delved into censorship of The New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election and the company’s decision to block the story.

Then on Friday evening, Musk announced he planned to release the second batch of the files. “Tune in for Episode 2 of The Twitter Files tomorrow!” Musk said. But for some reason, the files were not released on Saturday. Musk later said it might take another day to release the files.
“Looks like we will need another day or so,” Musk tweeted.

Then today, Jack Dorsey, who was in Africa last week, finally responded to Musk asking him to release all files after the revelation that it was the former FBI attorney and now-ousted Twitter deputy general James Baker was involved in the vetting of Twitter files before they were published on Friday by Journalist Matt Taibbi.
In a tweet, Jack said:
“If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles.”

As it turns out, it appears that Jack did not know about those files while he was CEO of Twitter. Musk responded to Jack saying that “most important data was hidden (from you too) and some may have been deleted, but everything we find will be released.”

Musk later fired Baker for his involvement in suppressing the laptop story. He added that he just learned that the former FBI attorney blocked the release. Matt Taibbi also shared an article about Baker’s connections to FBI controversies involving the Trump-Russia probe.
“Only discovered this on Sunday,” Musk tweeted.

Twitter user Lee Fang also pointed out that it was the same former FBI attorney James Baker “who passed on fake dirt from the Hillary campaign’s operatives in 2016, alleging a secret online portal from Russia’s Alfa Bank to Trump. Now attempted to shape the “Twitter Files.”
Meanwhile, in a piece titled “What’s missing from the Twitter files: The truth about the FBI,” New York Post’s Miranda Devine reported that the FBI conducted weekly briefings for the social media platforms in the run-up to the 2020 election.
According to Ms. Devine, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan testified Tuesday in a lawsuit against the Biden administration that he organized weekly meetings with Twitter and Facebook in San Francisco for as many as seven Washington-based FBI agents in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.
