Former Notre Dame professor and vocal supporter of mRNA vaccines on social media, died 12 days after taking the third Pfizer booster shot
According to the New York Times, serious covid infections among vaccinated people have been relatively rare. However, a recent Times analysis of data which “spanned the period from the start of the vaccination campaign until mid-June or July 2020, found that at least 1,470 have died from breakthrough deaths in the United States. The figure represents an increase of over 1,300 deaths from when we first reported the death count in July.
The analysis was done on data collected from 40 states and Washington, D.C. before the Delta variant became predominant in the United States. A breakthrough death is an instance in which a person died from the covid despite having received the vaccine for that disease.
Early this month, a 35-year-old fully vaccinated woman died of Covid while waiting for the final ditch of ECMO treatment. According to the report, the lady had been fully vaccinated for months and the thought of getting sick with COVID seemed far-fetched, her fiancé Tyler Birkes said. However, the stories of breakthrough deaths have received less attention from the mainstream media.
In what is fast now becoming a pattern of deaths after “booster” shots, Notre Dame University announced yesterday that 67-year-old former Notre Dame professor Karen Croake Heisler has died. Twice vaccinated, Karen died on September 19, just 12 days after taking her third Pfizer mRNA injection, according to her tweet dated September 7.
In a Twitter post dated September 7, Karen wrote: “Just received my third Covid vaccine.”

Before her death, Mrs. Heisler was an ardent and vocal supporter of all things masks and COVID-19 mandates on social media. On Twitter, Mrs. Heisler was a vocal supporter of vaccines.
In one tweet, Mrs. Heisler called unvaccinated people “selfish” and ordered them to stay home “until you come to your senses.” She went on to say that unvaccinated people “have no right or “freedom” to endanger the lives of your family, friends, co-workers, health professionals, teachers, and your community.”
“If you have no intentions of wearing a mask or getting the vaccine, please stay home until you come to your senses. You have no right or “freedom” to endanger the lives of your family, friends, co-workers, health professionals, teachers and your community. You are selfish,” she tweeted.

According to her Twitter account, Mrs. Heisler received her first dose of Pfizer mRNA on January 13. “Just got my first dose of the vaccine. Never been happier to be “old.” Now let’s get these vaccines rolling for everyone!,” she tweeted.

However, it was unclear when she received the second injection. Then on September 14, she posted another tweet where she said she was going to ER and encouraging the unvaccinated to “get the damn vaccine.”
“Welcome to the reality of the Covid crisis in Florida. My cardiologist tried to admit me to the hospital but there are no rooms because of Covid. Had to go ER route. Place is a teaming and the waiting room stretches into hallways. Wait for some is 15 hours. Get the damn vaccine,” she tweeted.

Her last tweet before she passed away was made on the same day. In the tweet, Mrs. Heisler talked about she was “still waiting to see a doc although they have run tests” and “no room in hospital or in ER bay.” She added that the PA said ER could not accept more patients. She ended her tweet with: “Damn the unvaccinated.”
“So still waiting to see a doc although they have run tests. Still no room in hospital or in ER bay. PA announcement just said ER could not accept more patients. This is a BIG hospital. Damn the unvaccinated. They have made life hell for a lot of people.”

Our prayers go to her family. The stories of breakthrough deaths have received less attention from the mainstream media. In response to her death on Twitter, one user said this about Mrs. Heisler: “She was a contributor to a series called “strong of heart” but ultimately it was the third Syringe that made her heart not so strong. Rest In Peace Karen, and my condolences to her family.”

Another Twitter user is asking people to bring attention to this story.
“We are killing our very best people. This professor was an ardent supporter of mRNA vaccines. It was not COVID that killed her. This is as close to a direct cause and effect as we’re going to get—summed up in a newsworthy story. Bring attention to this story. #VaccineMandates.”
