Israel passes 1 million in total covid cases with at least 42 people deaths in just 2 days
Isreal is one of the most vaccinated countries on earth. But the crisis in the ultra-vaxxed Jewish nation deepens as Israel passes 1 million total COVID cases. At this point, the question many are asking is: Can vaccine alone save us from this deadly virus?
As of Tuesday morning, there were 72,572 active COVID cases in Israel, with 1,124 people hospitalized, 678 people in serious condition and 123 of them on ventilators. Of the 141,472 COVID tests carried out on Monday, 9,831 came back positive.
Israeli Health ministry also said that 30 on Sunday and another 12 people died on Monday, making a total of 42 deaths in just 2 days. In a dire warning to the rest of the world, Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called on Israeli citizens to quickly get vaccinated with the 3rd dose of the vaccine. In a press conference, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said:
“People who received two vaccine shots walk around feeling like they are protected… they don’t understand that the second vaccine has faded against the “Delta” – they must quickly get vaccinated with the 3rd dose!”.
Are we doomed?
Israel's Prime Minister is crazy (or an idiot):

COVID-19 czar Dr. Salman Zarka also told the Israeli parliament: “I don’t want to frighten you. But this is the data. Unfortunately, the numbers don’t lie.” A massive surge of infections points to a complicated path ahead for Israel.
As of August 13, 2021, around 64 percent of the population of Israel (over 80% of adults) had been given at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, according to data from Statista.
Despite sweeping vaccinations, the situation seems to be getting worse and the country faces a new surge in covid cases and Israel health officials are warning that Israel could face a fourth lockdown during the Jewish holiday season in September unless additional booster shots are given to Covid patients.
During the peak of the third wave in mid-January, more than 10,000 cases were reported in one day. However, that figure has not been replicated since. On August 16, 8,772 new COVID cases were reported, which was the highest one-day figure in the fourth wave so far.
