Namecheap launches Visual.com, a website builder to help individuals and SMBs establish their online presence
With dozens of website builders out there, you may be wondering we need another one. The point is that there is always room for better and innovative tools that make people’s life easier.
Yesterday, Namecheap, a Phoenix, Arizona-based tech startup and domain name registrar, announced the launch of Visual.com, a website builder to help individuals and SMBs establish their online presence. Namecheap now joins the crowded web builder market. Visual.com still has an uphill battle considering the market is dominated by popular website builders like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, GoDaddy Website Builder, and Weebly.
However, unlike the above website builders, Visual is a suite of easy-to-use creative design tools with everything you need to launch your brand. You create a strong personal brand identity in no time by building an awesome website, free logo, and beautiful business cards. All of these service options can be tried at no cost. It looks like many of the links on the Visual website go directly to the Namecheap website.
It’s interesting that Namecheap did not launch its website builder platform as a separate branding. That could why the company chose to quietly announce the launch on social media. In a tweet, NameCheap’s Teddy Worcester wrote:
“Today @Namecheap, we launched http://Visual.com. It’s not only our first real stab at an easy-to-use website builder but the beginning of an entire suite of products to help individuals and SMBs establish their online presence. Would love your feedback!”

You may ask, why use Visual if you can just create a simple site website using WordPress? Unfortunately, not everyone has the technical expertise to set up WordPress on their own. In some cases, WordPress may be overkill. Besides, Visual comes features such as free logos, and beautiful business cards, that you don’t get from WordPress. Below is a sample site created using Visual. It’s appealing and looks professional.
