Meal prep software startup Meallogix raises $1.25M seed round to provide an end-to-end solution for meal prep operators and food delivery businesses

Before the coronavirus affected the way U.S. consumers dine and shop for food, there were 50 million people participating in meal kit and meal prep subscriptions, Nielsen reported. According to Statista, the meal prep market was valued at $1.6 billion dollars in 2016 and experienced a staggering 300% surge to a $4.65 billion valuation in 2017. By 2022, it’s expected to more than double to $11.6 billion.

Enter Meallogix, a San Diego, California-based food tech startup, and the first platform to provide an end-to-end solution for meal prep operators and food delivery businesses. Today, Meallogix announced it has raised a $1.25 million seed round to build out its platform, scale operations, grow its global team, and expand partnerships. The oversubscribed round was co-led by strategic investors.

Founded in 2019 by George Burnett III, Katarzyna Rozanna Wojniak, and Ted Stearns, the MeaLogix platform eliminates 80% of the workload and manages the entire meal prep and food delivery business. The startup helps the 11,000 busy, overlooked, and overworked Meal Prep Owners to boost their business growth and eliminate their manual workload by providing an online solution that fully automates their current operational & business processes.

Unlike any other CRM, its all-in-one platform digitalizes all manual processes allowing the Meal Prep Owners to remove obstacles in scaling their business, eliminating 80% of all manual processes from their workflow and immediately reduces their food costs by 15%-45%.
