As coronavirus spreads around the world, the death toll continues to rise. New hot spots are emerging across the globe. Sweden, one of the few countries that refused to implement the country-wide lockdown, now has its worst day since the deadly virus started in December of 2019. Sweden recorded its highest deaths of 106 people on Thursday. As of today, the total number of global cases now surpasses 1.5 million, including more than 88,000 deaths. Nearly 330,000 patients are reported to have recovered.
