Ajax Health raises $100 million to invest in MedTech startups developing disruptive technologies in the healthcare space
Ajax Health announced today that it has raised $100 million to form Ajax 3. The new capital will target investing in companies in the areas of medtech, healthcare services, and healthcare IT that focus on truly innovative approaches to addressing major issues in healthcare. HealthQuest Capital led the funding, with participation from Polaris Partners. Ajax 3 follows the $100 million previously raised in April 2019 for Ajax 2.
Founded in 2017, the Menlo Park, CA-based AJAX Health accelerates medical innovation through capital and capabilities. Created in partnership with private equity leaders KKR and Aisling Capital, AJAX invests and takes an operating role in innovative medical companies that improve lives and bring speed, simplicity and cost efficiency to health care.
