Newchip launches the first equity-free accelerator program to connect startups with investors

With so many venture capital firms and accelerators out there, one would think raising new funding for startups should be easy. But that’s not the case. Most founders are still require by VCs and accelerators to give up a certain percentage of their startups in return for funding. One new accelerator is about to change that. Enter Newchip, an Austin-based web and mobile investment platform that connects startups to investors. Instead of giving up 5% of your company, Newchip is 100% equity-free and you can participate from anywhere in the world without moving across the country.
Last month, Newchip, announce the launch of its April 2019 Accelerator Cohort. The company curate a list of investors, and create a fundraising plan specific to individual startup. Program participant will also be able to live pitch Newchip community after graduating from the program.
Founded in 2016 by Ryan Rafols and Travis Brodeen, Newchip connects new and experienced investors to business and real estate investment opportunities around the nation. Investors can start investing with as low as $100 and entrepreneurs can raise up to $50 million.
