TopTopic introduces SocialEarn, a fundraising tool to benefit nonprofits
Since launch, TopTopic has quickly become a popular posting site for writers, artist, commenters, curators and others to create a share content. While it is similar to Reddit, TopTopic separates itself by allowing its posters to earn money on their content. TopTopic also closely monitors content to keep it appropriate. The result is a thoughtful and respectful community that continues to grow each day.
Now, TopTopic is branching out to nonprofits with the launch of SocialEarn. This new fundraising program allows nonprofits to easily post updates, share news, blogs, comments, and creative work to the site while earning donations directly on the content posted. Not only that, but nonprofits can enjoy increased exposure and discover the charitable and growing TopTopic community.
“TopTopic has emphasized shifting the monetary value and profiting of meaningful content from platform/company owners, to those investing their time to post and share. There’s a nexus between our intentions and the needs of nonprofits, so we’re excited to see them leverage the platform to increase their online fundraising totals” said Saïd Amin, Co-Founder of TopTopic.
Nonprofits who register will find that they can receive donations directly from their profile page as well as from their content and cash in their earnings and donations at 100% of the value. This avoids the processing fees normally found on other fundraising platforms. With SocialEarn, fundraising is cost-effective and there are plenty of audience engagement opportunities for nonprofits of all sizes.
“As is the case with most nonprofits, we are strapped for time, resources, and budget,” said Brittan Stockert, Babies of Homelessness Vice Chair, “TopTopic has allowed us to easily build a foundation of supporters AND fundraise without taking the focus away from what matters the most–the mission and our clients. You won’t find another all-in-one innovative solution that truly matches the needs of small to large organizations in the nonprofit space. We are extremely grateful!”
In addition, online giving has continued to grow over recent years, however, concerns have been raised with the recently approved tax plan. However, SocialEarn is offering is a new avenue that will allow nonprofits to connect with and receive donations from their supporters.
SocialEarn has already received early attention from a number of participating nonprofits including, Babies of Homelessness, International Civil Society Action Network, Palestine Children Relief’s Fund, Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, and the National Iranian American Council.
Nonprofits can register to participate here.
