Facebook acquired a 3-year old ID authentication startup ‘Confirm.io’

Confirm.io, a government ID authentication startup that digitally authenticates government identification, said on its website that it agreed to be acquired by Facebook for an undisclosed amount.  The entire Confirm.io’s team will move to Facebook after the acquisition. The Confirm.io posted the follow statement on its website.
