This unknown startup develops electric UTV with more energy capacity than the most powerful Tesla
Nikola Zero is probably a name you’ve never heard of. Among its fans though, Nikola Zero is one of the best electric UTV ever produced. The electric UTV is manufactured by a young Utah-based startup company, Nikola Motors Company. The company builds heavy-duty transport trucks using hybrid hydrogen-electric powertrains. The company was founded in 2015 by Trevor Milton (twitter: @nikolatrevor). Nikola Motor Company (NTC) designs and manufactures electric vehicles, vehicle components, energy storage systems, and electric vehicle drivetrains. NTC claimed that its startup was able to pack 125 kWh of energy capacity in a relatively small battery pack – beating any electric vehicle currently in production, including the Tesla Model S P100D. According to the information provided on its website, for just $35,000, Nikola Zero comes with following specification:

The 400 Volt electric drivetrain delivers over 138HP per wheel. With instant horsepower, you can leave the competition in the dust. Literally!
While other UTVs lose efficiencies by going 4X4 drive, the Nikola Zero™ increases efficiencies in 4X4 mode due to the nature of electric motors at each wheel. The Nikola Zero™ has motors at each wheel, increasing efficiencies, delivering instant responses and eliminating the failures of belts altogether. What does this mean? Less slip, less breakdowns, instant power, better performance, faster response, incredible regenerative stopping power, and true Nikola™ power any time, anywhere… even underwater. The Nikola Zero™ was built military-grade and the electric motors and gearboxes do not require air to operate. Last month, Elon Musk Musk talked up his EV trucks but critics are saying Nikola’s hydrogen truck could steal the show.
