This startup has a terrifying plan to eliminate Yelp, Facebook and tipping

Skedaddle,  is an “Uber-for-buses” startup, that is launching a blockchain project that aims to completely eliminate tipping. Skedaddle gathers those interested in getting out of the city to areas impractical for Uber or Lyft, and instead of connecting users directly to passenger vehicles like those services, Skedaddle acts as a booking service, connecting interested travelers with underused charter buses. About 50,000 people are already chartering buses using Skedaddle every month. Last week the company launched a blockchain project that aims to completely eliminate tipping and disrupt the gig economy.  According to Business Insider,  Craig Nestler said in an interview, “We think this will be the first cryptocurrency for real world use.”  Nestler also went on to say, “This is a massive opportunity to completely take down Yelp and Facebook reviews, while completely eliminating tipping.”

The New York-based startup is the first flexible mass transportation network that allows anyone to create a route and find other riders. Users can rate any interaction with a service worker, which also functions as a tip, and follows a worker from job to job. CEO Adam Nestler says he is not worried about a potential bubble in crypto currencies, and says the company has already raised $6 million of its ICO goal.
