Installing is a breeze as there are only 2 components, the cube itself and the locking mechanism that slides into it. The battery life is approximately 1-2 and you will receive notifications when the battery is low and needs to be replaced.
There is a proximity detector which will automatically unlock your drawer or cabinet it with your Smartphone. Once you leave the area, it will then re-lock the device. You can also shut off this feature and use an encrypted password to gain access. You can also allows others to have access for locking and unlocking.
