Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey will reportedly leave Twitter’s board of directors today 16 years after co-founding the firm.

Dorsey, who is friendly with Elon Musk, is expected to stand down ahead of the $44 billion takeover by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Dorsey has also discussed rolling over his 2.4% ownership stake into the deal.
