Cere Network to integrate with Boba Network to provide decentralized data solutions to users
The popularity of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and the shift to decentralized finance has led to the rapid adoption of blockchain technology and the explosion of other decentralized applications (dApps). This has led to the growing demand for decentralized storage or encrypted data stored across multiple locations or nodes. The leader in decentralized data storage space is Cere Network, the first Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform built on Substrate and Polygon.
We covered Cere Network last week when it inked a joint venture partnership with LiveOne, Polygon, and non-fungible token (NFT) platform DaVinci.
Today, Cere Network announced a new partnership with Boba Network to provide decentralized data solutions to its users. The integration will bring improved Decentralized Data Cloud solutions to Boba Network builders and users.
The company said that developers that build on Boba Network are now enabled to utilize the power of the Cere Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) immediately, providing features not available in other decentralized infrastructure solutions, such as gated access to data, data replication and high availability backed by SLA, and location restriction (for instance, making sure data is only hosted in North America).
Cere Decentralized Data Cloud is the world’s first blockchain-based storage solution that is optimized for capturing user/app/NFT asset interactions which are individually signed and encrypted, along with potential value transfers, to be stored in a tamper-proof and time-capsule data scheme.
Greg Harduk, Marketing Partnerships Manager, Boba Network added that “Cere Network brings exciting new options to Boba builders and users – letting them own and manage their data and digital assets with more control and features than ever before.”
Upon completion of the integration by Boba Network in early April 2022, projects building on Boba Network will have direct access to Cere Freeport, the secure digital asset vault and solution suite for NFT backed assets. Cere Freeport differentiates itself from other NFT minting platforms through features like Web2 (e.g.social media) and/or Web3 (e.g. metamask) user log-in, full data encryption, end-to-end identity management, and access control to NFT backed assets
Founded by Co-founder Fred Jin, Cere Network is the first Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform built on Substrate and Polygon. Cere is the first Web3 project that facilitates trustless cloud data storage, integration, and data collaboration across blockchain networks, as well as Web3 NFT, metaverse, and gaming content. Cere is backed by the world’s largest institutions and projects, including Binance Labs, Republic Labs, and Polygon.
Fred Jin said: “By leveraging Cere’s DDC, Boba network’s users will get important tool kits to secure their NFTs and will easily be able to access and share their assets for generations to come. Additionally, Cere Freeport will reduce the barriers of entry for Boba users in creating, securing, and delivering NFT-powered products and experiences. ”
Boba Network is a next-generation Ethereum Layer 2 Optimistic Rollup scaling solution that reduces gas fees, improves transaction throughput, and extends the capabilities of Ethereum. Our Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) equivalent Layer 2 ORU helps Ethereum smart contracts scale while delivering a delightful user experience.
Boba’s proprietary Turing hybrid compute technology enables Ethereum developers to build dApps that trigger code executed on web-scale infrastructure such as AWS Lambda, making it possible to leverage sophisticated algorithms that are far too expensive, far too slow, or otherwise practically impossible to execute on-chain.
