Twitter is launching “Twitter Blue,” a subscription service priced at $2.99 per month to let you “undo tweets” and much more
Reddit has Reddit Premium, Discord has Discord Nitro, YouTube has YouTube Red, VSCO has VSCO X. Now, Twitter is joining a list of other social platforms with its upcoming subscription service called “Twitter Blue”. Twitter had previously confirmed that it’s exploring a paid subscription model for some features.
Now, according to app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, the new subscription service will be priced at just $2.99 per month and will include an Undo Tweets feature and bookmark collections, which a lot of Twitter users had asked for.
However, Twitter users are not happy with the announcement. Immediately after her tweet, “Twitter Blue” started trending with over 190,000 hashtags as of the time of writing.
Wong said it appears the social giant is working on a tiered subscription model, which she thinks could mean a less-cluttered, premium experience for the highest-paying subscribers.

Wong also added that Twitter is working on an “Undo Send” timer for tweets. Below is an animated gif of how it works.

As we reported early this month, Twitter also launched Spaces live-audio rooms, a feature similar to the Clubhouse audio app that allows users to join virtual rooms where they can engage in real-time, audio conversations with others.
In an announcement on its platform, Twitter said, “Twitter Spaces is rolling out to more people! now everyone can tap in to join a Space and more of you can host.”
