Elon Musk says he is ‘off Twitter for a while.’ Returning back to Alpha Centauri for an urgent meeting

Amid the ongoing GameStop controversy and the upcoming SpaceX launches, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is taking a break from Twitter, perhaps to focus on his business.
After a busy few weeks responding to the GameStop controversy and throwing his support around Reddit traders, Musk, who is famous for his voracious tweets, announced to his 44.8 million followers that he’s taking a break from the social media site.
“Off Twitter for a while,” Musk tweeted early this morning without giving any further details.

To poke fun at his tweet, Musk’s fan, Lex Fridman, tweeted the following in reference to “Alpha Centauri,” the closest star to Earth. Alpha Centauri is the very closest system in the galaxy, lying just 4.37 light-years away.
Fridman tweeted: “Got it Elon. I’ll take it from here. People of Earth, Elon has returned back to Alpha Centauri. Your planet has regrettably been scheduled for demolition. The process will take slightly less than two of your Earth days. Thank you. PS: Don’t panic.”
Got it Elon. I'll take it from here.
People of Earth,
Elon has returned back to Alpha Centauri. Your planet has regrettably been scheduled for demolition. The process will take slightly less than two of your Earth days.
Thank you.
PS: Don't panic.

The two main stars are Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B, which form a binary pair. They are an average of 4.3 light-years from Earth. Alpha Centauri A and B orbit a common center of gravity every 80 years. The average distance between them is about 23 astronomical units (AU)
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Musk has taken a break from Twitter. In June of last year, Musk said he was taking a break from Twitter to focus on SpaceX launches.
