Gab.com is now down as Big Tech’s onslaught on free speech continues
Just yesterday, we wrote about Gab.com after the Twitter competitor and free speech social app reported a 750% increase in traffic and 18 million visits within 24 hours. Now, it seems Gab has suffered the same fate as Parler, another free speech app.
Gab.com website is now down as Big Tech’s onslaught on free speech continues. As of the time of writing, Gab.com did not resolve, with the home page completely blank. After about 5 minutes, visitors are later greeted with this message:
You’ve requested a page on a website (gab.com) that is on the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (gab.com).
Gab is one of the best alternative social apps to Twitter for those who want to fight Big Tech censorship and social media freedom. Gab.com is a social media website founded on the premise of promoting free speech. Gab dubbed itself as a platform to promote free speech and individual liberty.
Since the recent ban of Parler by Apple, Twitter, and Google, Gab says it’s gaining 10,000 new users every hour. Just like Twitter, Gab has a great user interface and probably a better user experience than Twitter.
Below is how Gab.com describes its recent success:
500,000+ new users today.
18 million visits.
You don’t need an account to use the site.
The Silicon Valley Exodus has begun.

The best is yet to come.
