Dr. Fauci warned in a new gloom and doom forecast: President Trump’s coronavirus recovery could still go in ‘Wrong Direction,’ and the President could get into ‘Trouble’
It’s been a while since we heard the daily gloom and doom message from Dr. Anthony Fauci. Yesterday, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases did not disappoint.
While the whole nation was happy and thankful that President Trump had returned to the White House after a 3-day stay Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for coronavirus treatment, Dr. Fauci used the time to pour cold water on Americans’ excitement warning that Trump’s coronavirus recovery could soon go into ‘reversal’
Dr. Fauci said that President Donald Trump is still in the early stages of his coronavirus infection, and his condition could yet go into “reversal.”Speaking with CNN on Monday evening, Fauci said that Trump looked “fine” when he was filmed Monday night leaving Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to return to the White House but that “it’s no secret” that some people see their conditions worsen about a week into the course of a COVID-19 infection.
Dr. Fauci added that President Donald Trump looks “very well” despite developing COVID-19. However, he also said it is still possible Trump’s condition could go in the “wrong direction” due to how the disease progresses.
To cover his bases, Fauci later added that it is “unlikely” that a reversal would happen but there needs to be caution for the same. In the same televised interview, the US top infectious disease expert said, “He knows it. The physicians know it. So they’re going to keep an eye out on it. They’re going to try and do that within the confines of the White House as opposed to in the hospital.”
