“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

Last Friday, President Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania were tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). He was quickly taken to Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for treatment. They were tested after Hope Hicks, a White House aide also tested positive for the disease.
President Trump becomes the third world leader to be tested for positive for the deadly virus. In April, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was tested for COVID-19 and later moved to intensive care after his condition worsened.
On July 9, President Bolsonaro was tested positive for COVID-19. He later posted a video of himself on Facebook taking hydroxychloroquine to treat the deadly coronavirus. He tested negative for COVID-19 less than 3 weeks after treatment with hydroxychloroquine.
In a tweet from his official Twitter account, President Trump said:
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”
