Polkadot Blockchain Academy Launches Fifth Cohort in Singapore to Train New Generation of Blockchain Developers
In March, the Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) captivated Singapore with its comprehensive, multi-week hybrid blockchain training program. Now, just two months later, PBA is returning to Singapore with the launch of its highly anticipated fifth cohort, beginning on May 20, 2024. The program aims to foster developer talent and propel the Polkadot ecosystem to new heights.
Riding on the wave of its past successes, the upcoming cohort promises to deliver an exceptional educational experience. Supported by 18 seasoned instructors, participants will benefit from top-tier teaching and personalized mentorship throughout the program.
The curriculum boasts approximately 184 lecture hours, offering an in-depth exploration of blockchain technology and Polkadot. Spanning fundamental concepts to advanced techniques, the program covers crucial topics such as Economics, Governance, Smart Contracts, and the Polkadot-SDK, ensuring a well-rounded education for aspiring blockchain developers.
“Asia is such a dynamic market for blockchain, especially for Polkadot,” said Pauline Cohen Vorms, CEO and Co-Founder of Polkadot Blockchain Academy. “Some of our strongest projects, contributors, developers, and founders are based in Asia. It’s an important region ideally suited for PBA’s fifth cohort, aimed at educating, seeding knowledge, and graduating a new wave of talent.”
In its commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, PBA is introducing a synchronous remote learning experience, enabling global participation in its esteemed programs. This dedication to excellence and fostering collaboration cements PBA’s role as a cornerstone of the Polkadot ecosystem.
Founded by Gavin Wood, the Polkadot Blockchain Academy is led by leading engineers, researchers, and project founders from the Polkadot ecosystem, Parity Technologies, and the Web3 Foundation. The Academy supports Polkadot’s success by nurturing a robust developer community and providing essential educational resources. Its programs are designed to impart both the conceptual foundations and practical applications of blockchain technology.
