TROES named to Foresight 50 as one of Canada’s most investable cleantech ventures
TROES, a pioneer in energy storage solutions, has been named one of Foresight Canada’s Foresight 50 for 2023, solidifying its position as one of Canada’s most promising cleantech ventures.
Foresight, a well-known cleantech accelerator, went through an extensive selection process in collaboration with partners across the country to identify the top 50 ventures. The process included an evaluation by Foresight Executives in Residence and mentors, leading to 183 companies becoming finalists for the judging phase. The judging panel, consisting of 41 cleantech investors, carefully assessed the companies based on criteria like investability, potential environmental and employment impact, leadership and team, and probability of success.
TROES’ success is centered around its groundbreaking “Microgrid-in-a-Box” solution, which is transforming the development of battery energy storage systems. This innovative solution fosters collaboration among different stakeholders, reducing costs and speeding up project timelines. The approach integrates hardware, software, operational services, and channel partners, making it an attractive and efficient option for mid-sized commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
According to the company, clients adopting the “Microgrid-in-a-Box” can achieve significant savings of 20 – 60 percent on energy costs, resulting in substantial financial benefits. Additionally, the technology’s capability to provide grid stability support is crucial for regions with limited grid availability, creating new markets and opportunities.
