Agnes AI Announces Launch of CoVibe Group Chat, AI Filters, AI-Native Snap to Bring Social Creativity and Discovery into One Platform
Singapore — Agnes AI, a consumer-first AI platform, today announced the release of three new product features—Group Chat (CoVibe), Filters, and Explore—designed to make AI a shared experience for collaboration, creative expression, and everyday discovery. The rollout expands Agnes AI’s unified interface that brings search, research, slide generation, design, and communication into one platform, enabling users to move from conversation to deliverables without switching applications.
The release builds on the platform’s growth momentum. Agnes AI has reached over 3 million users, with approximately half of the user base located in Southeast Asia, reflecting strong adoption in markets where consumer access to advanced AI tools has historically been limited. Unlike premium, enterprise-oriented AI products, Agnes is positioned for everyday users with lower token costs and support for minority languages commonly used across Southeast Asia.
CoVibe Group Chat Introduces Real-Time, Shared AI Collaboration
CoVibe embeds AI directly into group conversations, enabling teams to collaborate with an AI assistant in real time. Users can invite members via phone number or email and interact with the assistant by tagging @Agnes inside the chat. The assistant can generate slides, create images for social posts, research topics, and answer questions within the shared thread, ensuring outputs are visible to the entire group and reducing redundant back-and-forth.
CoVibe supports iterative creation at the group level. Members can quote an AI response, tag @Agnes again, and refine the output together—turning group conversation into a live workflow. The feature is designed for study groups, content brainstorming, project coordination, and travel research, where participants benefit from rapid synthesis and shared context.
“AI should not be limited to individual prompts and private outputs,” said Bruce Yang, Founder and CEO of Agnes AI. “CoVibe is built around the reality that creativity and decision-making happen in groups, and AI becomes more useful when it is embedded directly into shared conversations.”
AI Filters Expand Creative Expression Inside Conversations
Agnes Filters introduces AI-native visual templates that transform a single photo upload into unique images or short videos in seconds. Unlike conventional filters that apply the same effects to every user, Agnes’s AI-based templates generate unique outputs for each upload, enabling individualized results while keeping the experience simple and fast.
Filters are integrated into group chat flows, enabling shared creative moments where friends or collaborators can apply the same template, compare outcomes, and react instantly. Select Filters also animate still photos into short AI-generated clips, making video-style content creation more accessible without professional tools.
Explore Delivers AI-Simplified News With Instant Context
Explore is a news and discovery feature that converts information from verified sources into concise, readable summaries across categories such as technology, business, sports, culture, and global events. The experience is designed to reduce noise and repetition while maintaining clarity, with topics and tone adjustable to user preferences.
Explore also includes an integrated question bar that enables users to request deeper explanations and context on demand. Summaries can be shared directly into Agnes group chats to support discussion and collaborative decision-making around current events and trends.
Proprietary Model Stack Supports Speed, Cost Efficiency, and Localization
To deliver these features at consumer scale, Agnes AI has developed a family of proprietary models ranging from 7B to 30B parameters, including Agnes-R1. Through task orchestration, approximately half of user traffic is routed to self-developed models optimized for tasks such as research, slide generation, and image/video creation, supporting faster inference and lower token costs than closed-source alternatives.
Agnes AI is also continuing to train regional models to improve performance on local dialects, slang, and culturally specific contexts across Southeast Asia and Latin America. In addition, the platform includes a memory function that retains key user details over time, enabling more personalized outputs and improved continuity in both individual and group interactions.
