AI robotics startup Figure raises $1B in funding to bring humanoids to market, hits $39B valuation

Figure, the Sunnyvale-based robotics startup chasing the vision of autonomous general-purpose humanoids, has crossed a major milestone. The company announced it has secured more than $1 billion in committed capital through its Series C round, lifting its valuation to a staggering $39 billion.
The funding, led by Parkway Venture Capital with backing from Brookfield Asset Management, NVIDIA, Macquarie Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, Tamarack Global, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce, T-Mobile Ventures, and Qualcomm Ventures, cements Figure’s place at the center of the humanoid race. The funding comes just over a year after Jeff Bezos and NVIDIA backed the company in a $675 million round at a $2 billion valuation.

“This milestone is critical to unlocking the next stage of growth for humanoid robots, scaling out our AI platform Helix and BotQ manufacturing,” said Brett Adcock, Founder and CEO of Figure. “Support from new partners, alongside the continued backing of our existing investors, reflects both Figure’s position as the market leader and a shared belief in a future where this technology becomes a natural part of daily life.”
The capital will fuel three fronts that Figure sees as the key to bringing humanoid robots out of the lab and into the real world. The company is scaling up production at its BotQ facility, preparing robots to assist in homes and commercial settings. It’s building out GPU infrastructure to supercharge Helix, its AI system for embodied intelligence. And it’s launching large-scale data collection efforts, including human video and multimodal sensory data, to sharpen how its robots interpret and respond to dynamic environments.
Founded to tackle global labor shortages and support supply chains, Figure’s humanoids are engineered for adaptability—capable of handling a variety of tasks in warehouses, retail spaces, and even homes. The company bets that humanoids won’t remain science fiction for long. With the cash and heavyweight investors now on board, Figure is doubling down on its push to make humanoid robots a practical reality.
