Unstoppable Domains and 0G launch .ROBOT: The Web3 identity for the robotics revolution

Robots just got their own corner of the internet. Unstoppable Domains, the Web3 digital identity startup, has teamed up with the 0G Foundation to launch .ROBOT, a new top-level domain built for the age of intelligent machines. The extension, now open for pre-sale, is designed as a universal identity layer for humanoid robots, industrial cobots, gaming NPCs, automation platforms, and AI-driven agents.
“.ROBOT is more than a domain. It represents a trusted identity system that allows robots, AI agents, and automated platforms to interconnect and collaborate globally,” said Michael Heinrich, Co-founder and CEO of 0G.
The timing lines up with a robotics boom that shows no signs of slowing. Collaborative robots are projected to grow at 32 percent year over year through 2030, bringing automation to small businesses in safer, more flexible ways. Meanwhile, more than half of robotics experts expect humanoid robots to become a mainstay in logistics and manufacturing within the decade, taking on high-risk and repetitive jobs. Layer that with advances in AI models that can learn from virtual environments and adapt in the real world, and the idea of a shared digital identity for fleets of machines doesn’t sound futuristic—it sounds necessary.
Sandy Carter, Chief Business Officer of Unstoppable Domains, put it this way: “Robots are no longer confined to the factory floor. They are mapping Martian craters, piloting drones, moderating online communities, running characters in games, and automating the workflows that shape our daily lives. Robots exist in hardware, in code, and in culture, and now with .ROBOT, they have a digital home of their own.”
The new extension sits on 0G Foundation’s decentralized AI operating system, an infrastructure built for scale. With 50 GB per second throughput, integrated compute and storage, and connections to over 19 million wallets, the network is already equipped to support a naming system for intelligent agents. Backed by $384 million in funding, 0G is betting that bringing robots on-chain is the next big step in aligning AI with human interests.
From Humanoids to AI Agents, .ROBOT Domains Give Machines a Digital Identity
The robotics industry itself is swelling fast, projected to nearly triple from $74 billion today to around $185 billion by 2030. For startups, research labs, AI developers, gaming studios, and automation companies, the .ROBOT extension offers more than a novelty—it’s a marker of identity and trust across the internet and blockchain.
The pre-sale for .ROBOT is live now at Unstoppable Domains, with premium names up for grabs. For those building in robotics, automation, or AI, it’s a chance to secure a digital identity in a space built specifically for machines.
The message is clear: the future is automated, the future is intelligent—and now, the future has a name.
Founded in 2018 by Bogdan Gusiev, Brad Kam, Braden Pezeshki, and Matthew Gould, Unstoppable Domains is a San Francisco-based company building the universal naming system for the decentralized web. The company is backed by Draper Associates and Boost VC and has received grants from the Ethereum Foundation.
