Austria-based tech startup Storyblok launches Creator Fund with thousands of dollars up for grabs for creators
Bloggers, YouTubers, influencers, podcasters, and, photographers… are just a few examples of an estimated 50 million people worldwide who identify as “creators.” And these people are all part of the growing Creator Economy. Today, the creator economy is changing the way we think about work.
The Creator economy is a community of online content producers monetizing their expertise, skills, and—most importantly—their audience to help businesses and organizations reach their target customers and sell products or services.
But there’s no creator economy without engaging content and tools. One startup that’s making it easier for creators to create content is Austria-based CMS startup Storyblok. Founded in 2017 by Alexander Feiglstorfer and Dominik Angerer, Storyblok is used by more than 80,000 developers and marketers to deliver content experiences on any front end including websites, eCommerce, mobile apps, AR/VR, or voice content.
Storyblok just launched a Creator Fund making $thousands up for grabs for creators to support their ideas. The fund is open to any creator-driven media such as bloggers, podcasters, live streamers, and social media influencers. To take part, creators will need to submit an idea for content related to CMS topics for a chance to get $5K to work on the project.
This news follows the successful launch of a $1.5 million partner fund which we reported last year. Creating and delivering content to end-users is no longer just a question of implementing responsive design. Companies want their content to be easily distributed over different communication channels: websites, web and mobile applications, and connected objects.
Since its inception six years ago, Storyblok has been collaborating with the creator community to raise awareness about the benefits of headless content management. In 2022 alone, the company sponsored a total of 231 projects from creators to demonstrate its commitment to supporting their creative endeavors.
Storyblok is open to any creator-driven media and has previously collaborated with a diverse community of creators: bloggers, podcasters, live streamers, social media influencers, etc.
“Storyblok has been nothing short of incredible. Their team is supportive, the product is innovative, and the momentum behind it all is very exciting. The Marketing Meetup is proud to work with Storyblok for over a year now, and we know they’re on the side of creators everywhere,” said Joe Glover from The Marketing Meetup.
“I’ve enjoyed Storyblok as a sponsor because they give me the creative freedom to create the best content for my channel. The Storyblok community also does a fantastic job promoting my content,” said Matt Maribojoc from LearnVue.
“Storyblok has been a fantastic partner for our media operation, drawing lots of interest from our listeners. I enjoyed working with them,” said Brian McCullough from the Techmeme Ride Home podcast.
“Whether they’re new or established creators, we find the best content ideas to promote headless architecture come from the community. Through our new Creator Fund, not only will more businesses learn about the future of content management, but we’ll also help creators get more attention for their great work and creativity,” said Thomas Peham, VP of Marketing at Storyblok.
For those interested in submitting their content creation ideas for a chance to win $5,000, the Creator Fund page is the place to be. The deadline for idea submission is April 22nd. Be sure to check out the Creator Fund page to learn more about the submission process and requirements.
