Big Tech Censorship: Facebook, Twitter censored sourced reporting from the New York Post’s story about bombshell emails and video obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop
Earlier today, The New York Post published a story about an email that shows how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to his dad, former Vice President Biden. The Post alleged, citing the bombshell emails and video retrieved from the laptop, that former VP Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.
The news quickly went viral online a few hours after the story was published. However, what is so disturbing is not so much about the content of the story but how Facebook censored and limit the story from being shared on its platform. In a Twitter post, Facebook spokesman Andy Stone wrote:
“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley is threatening Facebook over the handling of Post exposé on Bidens. In a Twitter post, Sen. Hawley said: “@Facebook I want to know on what grounds you are actively censoring a news report about potentially illegal corruption by the Democrat candidate for president. If you have evidence this is “disinformation,” disclose it immediately. Expect a formal inquiry from my office.”

According to the post, the emails were obtained from a hard drive left at a Delaware computer repair shop. Below is the original tweet from the New York Post.

Update: Twitter has now deleted the New York Post tweet about the news. For months, VP Biden denied he ever had any meeting with Ukrainian officials. However, according to a new piece from Politico, VP Biden apparently met with Burisma adviser Vadym Pozharskyi. Below is an excerpt from Politico plus a screenshot of the article.
“Biden’s campaign would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with Pozharskyi”
Meanwhile, U.S. President Trump just tweeted the New York Post story about an hour ago.
