Chinese virologist Li-Meng Yan claims she has evidence coronavirus was engineered in Wuhan lab; blames Dr. Fauci and WHO of coverup for China
In early August, we wrote about Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan after she claimed that coronavirus was derived from the Zhoushan bat virus. In a live stream interview with the YouTube channel G-Translator on August 5, Dr. Yan Li-Meng alleged that coronavirus came from a People’s Liberation Army (PLA) lab. Dr. Yan later fled her home country out of fear for her safety. The Chinese National Health Commission, World Health Organisation, and the University Of Hong Kong have since disputed her claims.
Before the start of COVID-19, Dr. Li-Meng Yan was working at the Hong Kong School of Public Health. She later turned whistleblower on the Chinese Government after she alleged they knew about the spread of the coronavirus before publicly acknowledging the outbreak. Dr. Yan claims she had to flee to the US for her own safety and is now determined to spread her findings to the world.
Dr. Yan further alleged that White House health advisor Dr. Fauci knows “more than me how they approved those gain-of-function research findings to (fund) these Chinese labs under the CCP’s control,” possibly in reference to a Newsweek report alleging Fauci’s organization funded gain-of-function research on bat coronavirus at the WIV.
The gain-of-function research (GOF), which we wrote about back in July, is the euphemism for government-sponsored biological research conducted for biodefense purposes and aimed at increasing the virulence and lethality of pathogens and viruses.
Now a month after the interview, Dr. Yan says she has proof that COVID-19 was made in Wuhan laboratory. She said she plans to release evidence proving that COVID-19 did not arise in nature but was actually engineered in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Dr. Yan joined the British ITV television show “Loose Women” on Friday from a secret location to talk about why she felt compelled to speak out, even if it meant putting her life on the line. During the interview, Dr. Yan said she intends to release evidence showing “why this has come from the lab in China, why they are the only ones who made it.”
She insisted reports that the virus had originated in a wet market was a “smokescreen.” Citing her source as “local doctors,” Dr. Yan said:
“It comes from the lab, the lab in Wuhan and the lab is controlled by China’s government. The first thing is the market in Wuhan … is a smokescreen. This virus is not from nature.”
