Elon Musk pushes for reopening the country and put an end to lockdowns, demands we “Free America”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is joining millions of Americans asking the government to lift the lockdown and lift restrictions. Musk is calling for coronavirus lockdowns to be eased and America to be re-opened, asserting, “give people their freedom back!” Musk urges states across the country to put an end to lockdowns aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
In a series of tweets early Wednesday, Musk said: “FREE AMERICA NOW” and “Give people their freedom back” in response to the lockdowns, which have been in place throughout much of the country amid the pandemic.

In another tweet, Musk praises Texas with a phrase: “Bravo Texas!” He also added: “Yes, reopen with care & appropriate protection, but don’t put everyone under de facto house arrest.”

In response to another tweet, Musk agreed in a follow-up tweet that states should “reopen with care & appropriate protection” amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but he also said leaders shouldn’t be putting “everyone under de facto house arrest.”
