Google Drive, Google Docs down for many users in the U.S.

Google Docs is not working and down at many locations, according to Down Detector, the website that tracks service disruptions. Thousands of users reported problems with Google Drive and Google Docs itself. Most complaints were raised for Google Drive, with the majority of the users reporting issues with the service in the US.

Users trying to use the Microsoft Word alternative from Google received an error that said, “Google Docs encountered an error. Please try reloading this page, or coming back to it in a few minutes.” Google Docs is not working and down at many locations. So, if you are trying to access Google Docs and it is not working for you, fret not, as you are not alone.

Google Drive is an online storage and file sharing service, as well as an online productivity suite that can be accessed through a browser. The productivity software was previously known as Google Docs and offers a text editor, spreadsheet and a presentation tool.
