Cloud data warehouse startup Matillion lands $35 million Series C led by Battery Ventures to fuel continued rapid expansion and accelerate growth
Matillion, a startup that provides data transformation for cloud data warehouses, has secured $35 million in Series C funding to deliver accelerated growth, and extend the capabilities of its flagship product line. The round was led by Battery Ventures and returning investors Sapphire Ventures and Scale Venture Partners.
Founded in 2011 by Matthew Scullion, the Manchester, United Kingdom-based Matillion is a software company that offers purpose-built, native ELT solutions for for Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery enabling businesses to achieve new levels of simplicity, speed, scale, and savings. Its products are designed and developed for fast-growing, tech-savvy, and intelligence- and data- driven companies that are leveraging the cloud to gain insights.
