Healthtech startup HealthVerity named best tech startup in Philadelphia at Timmy Awards
HealthVerity, a healthtech startup that powers the discovery, licensing and linkage of traditional and emerging healthcare data, has been named 2018 Best Tech Startup from the Third Annual Philadelphia Timmy Awards ceremony after Tech in Motion announced the winners live in front of 300 tech enthusiasts, executives and entrepreneurs. HealthVerity joined the ranks of innovators such as Venmo and ShopRunner that have claimed a Timmy Award in prior years.
Founded in 2014 by Andrew Goldberg and Andrew Kress, HealthVerity is a leading provider of technologies and software tools that enable healthcare providers, such as Pharmaceutical manufacturers, Hospitals and Payers, to discover, license and integrate patient data from a wide range of traditional and emerging data sources to build the optimal patient data set.
“As the number of startups increases in the Philadelphia region, so does the innovation happening in the city. HealthVerity is making Philadelphia more alluring as a place to work in tech,” said Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Tech in Motion. “The Timmy Awards were created to elevate local leaders like HealthVerity that make an impact from the beginning.”
